government bodies, regulators, courts, tribunals and other persons where required or authorised by law; and
any other person where you have authorised us to disclose the information or the disclosure is otherwise permitted by law.
Some of the third-party service providers we use may store, process or access personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
MORETON BUY AND REFERRALS
Moreton Buy is a separate business from Moreton Manage and provides buyer’s agency and related property acquisition services.
Where you request or agree to a referral, we may provide Moreton Buy with information reasonably necessary to facilitate that referral, such as your name, contact details and information about the services you are seeking. We may also receive personal information from Moreton Buy where you have requested or agreed to be referred to us, or where the collection is otherwise permitted by law.
AI AND AUTOMATED TOOLS
We may use artificial intelligence and other automated tools to assist us with administrative, analytical and operational activities, including reviewing or organising information relevant to our property management and leasing services.
We do not currently use artificial intelligence or automated tools to make decisions that significantly affect an individual, such as deciding whether a person is approved for a tenancy.
If we use automated tools in future to make, or do something substantially and directly related to making, a decision that could significantly affect an individual’s rights or interests, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain the types of decisions involved and the types of personal information used.
SECURITY and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
